| 32 billion is a hellova lot of money. I'd do a lot with it. Not simply give it to charities, though, as a lot of them are pretty useless. I'd put a good deal of it toward research and development (and deployment) of alternative energy solutions. Another chunk of it toward water management. Various other such things that will have a lasting impact, but are plagued by financial limitations. I could very, very easily set myself up for life with nothing more to ever ask for with 5-10 million. Maybe I'd keep up to 20-25 if I wanted to get selfish and bribe some anime studio to animate one of my novels (which would cost up to $10M if I could get all top grade staff.) So that's 31.775B that can be put toward useful stuff like sustainable water, power and food production. |

| I'm going to be honest and say I'd do what most people would actually do - be selfish =P Not that I wouldn't be generous towards friends and family, but any charity contributions would be motivated entirely by tax breaks and there's no way I could spend most of it on my friends and family, even if I bought them everything they wanted. The bulk of the money would get invested in something, I suppose, after I bought a house, a few cars, and whatever else I might want at the time. |

| 32 billion is an absurd amount of money, i really wouldnt even know what to do with with like 32 million. prob donate like 5 billion to a bunch of different research causes over time. thenn with the other billions... 1. invest 5 billion in no load stock money market mutual fund. 2. invest 5 billion in: the best private japanese tutor ever as well as whatever fees it costs to drop out of school, move to japan and buy one of those temple/mansions that cost 10 million dollars, as well as stocking it with the most ballin shit. 3. give away 2 billion to the present friends/family i have save the rest for mansion upkeep as well as money to add to my mutual fund, and travel as well as a reallly really security protection squad and safe for life. |

| I know exactly what I would do with it. I would donated 10% of it first to a Charity called Heifer Project International. Which is a program that has been around since after WW2. They work at teaching people in countries where they are starving to death learn to breed, care for, and pass on to there neighbors Various livestock. (everything from rabbits, cows, goats, or even some exotic animals depending on the areas that familys are from) I also would make sure all my family and friends had enough money to make sure all their debits were paid + 1,000,000 dollars. Id also make sure my sister and bro had plenty of money to make sure they could go to any college they wanted. I would give Xinil a small amount of money each year to help cover the websites full cost. I would start various business, not the least of would be a anime website, with streaming videos and advertisements, placed at the various points ment for commercials. and work on getting that off the ground. I'd also open my own Store that would cater to anime lovers, and various traditional games (Ie Magic the Gathering, D&D, Warhammer, etc, etc), and have a huge room full of computers, so people could have lan parties for various online or network games. I would also buy myself a small, but nice home. Get myself a decent car. Put enough of the money into an account for me and my immediate family (ie wife & children) Could happy live our intire lives off of. Then I would start giving the money away to various charities and giving out grants and funding to alot of research and public work projects. And dedicate the majority of money to those kinds of things. |

| Stocks and Shares! With $35bn I'd be $20bn less rich than Bill Gates. That won't do. I'd go private equity mad and since I'd be the only person who could fund large purchases of companies in the current credit crisis, I'd get loads of companies on the cheap. I'll start with Northern Rock, they need some help or else thousands of people would lose their jobs. Also before I die, I would dump it all in a foundation dedicated to genetics, nanotechnology, robotics and renewable energy research. It's goal would be to get humanity out into the stars. | Make an anime theme park bigger than any of the disney theme parks. Instead of the workers wearing big disney suits they wear professionally made cosplay clothes and such. It would be a huge anime convention. But, every day. $200USD Entrance Fee. =) $5000USD 1Yr Pass $200USD Hotel One Night - One Bed I think I could make alot of money. =) Gotta buy out some anime companies though. =D |

I'd let people live with me if they wanted :D but mooches would piss me off. and at some point, I'd randomly go around the world like some crazy person... meet some people from MAL who are far away :3 Also, I would go to India and study tea, intensively, for like 3 random months. And China, of course. and Japan. basically, world tour of TEA! and collect lots of nice books.. omg, this would be awesome. and I would not donate to random charities, but like.... I would donate to some as I saw fit. |

| Firstly, the urgent priorities. A couple million for my Mum and Dad, and that can end the one problem in their marriage once and for all. Lack of cash and how to get it. I would probably give that same amount for my relatives in Indonesia (Oma, Opa, Uncles and Aunts), so they can live better lives. I'll also use the money for Uni expenses, and find a decent-good apartment in Brisbane before entering the world of VideoGame design. Random Company: NaughtyDog. Now, the fun stuff: 1. I would donate $250000 for every Webcomic that I read. All the cash you need to buy mateirals you silly webcomic artists. That's about 2 million. 2. Donate $300 to Xinil every month. Giving more seems...unnecessary. 3. SY, before you see me, I want to see YOU. In Canada. And all the other MAL/RvB friends I have around the world. I have to visit. 4. Anime boxsets, enough Videogames to satisfy me. (which isn't that much) Insane stuff: 1. Buy out an entire Anime Studio. Just for the hell of it. And then maybe bankrupt them? Yes, time to destroy Studio Pierrot. 2. With various friends and family, randomly have a Concert with all my fav bands/artists. 3. | Actually, as an update to my earlier post, I think I'd see about setting up an anime distribution company, that does DVD/BR releases in fansub style (softsubbed, but with real typesetting) unlike the shitty current DVD standards of subtitles. I wouldn't do dubbing at all whatsoever, just try to acquire licenses and distribute stuff at a subsidised price (don't need to pay for dub actors and the such, just a 'fansub' crew =p) It'd be good for a lot of the more obscure stuff that never gets licensed, also I'd be on the ball and try to license stuff as it's still airing, as most companies tend to be slow and pick stuff up late. That way it'd be possible to do a few dozen new releases a year, and in a fairly timely manner. Probably not cost a whole hellova lot to set up such a company, either... few dozen million, maybe a hundred or two if I want to get fancy. From 32B, it's a drop in an ocean. |
