The beheading of the Japanese S-rank hunters against the entity of the ant king, shit has finally come to the roof.

While the raid is going on smoothly as planned, the beheadings certainly drove the Japanese hunters to oblivion, as the Korean hunters ready their fight in the ant nest, with nothing to hold back and the public in full awe of what's possibly the last big-profile raid of the period. Haein and the others giving it their all to defeat the ant queen, it's intense action all the way through, but they finally made it.

However, this is not quite the end of it as the ant king takes precedence, with an aura that matches Jinwoo and leaves no room for error against the hunters that took its mother's life. Needless to say, Haein, Yoonho, Byung-gu and the others weren't quite prepared for it, as well as the Japanese hunters facing their true enemy, only to start faltering now.

With the Shadow Monarchs having to interfere, it's time for Jinwoo to stand up to the cause.

It's a bit of a production downgrade for a set-up episode, that still captures the terror of the ant counterattack.

So everything was going well for the most part (considering that Charlie and Delta got clapped pretty easily), but then things get dire once the blue ant (who I’m assuming will be the King of the Ants) showed up.

He quickly made work of everybody and not a single one of them was able to fight back. Byung-gun was doing work by healing, but the ant is able to see through his camouflage, so he quickly died.

Speaking of death, this is extremely gruesome the way everybody is getting decapitated like they’re dolls that little kids cut off with some scissors. And to add insult to injury, the ant used Byung-gun to talk to Yoonho and piss him off even more.

But then in the nick of time, Jinwoo’s shadows come out to protect everybody (a little late since the healer was killed, but then again Jinwoo never met him so he didn’t have a chance to put a shadow in his shadow plus nobody knew that Byung-gin was joining the raid in the first place until the end of the previous episode) and Jinwoo is about to use Shadow Exchange to get into the action.

I wonder why Jinwoo is getting involved now? Is it because of what he saw in the news, knowing that this is too much?

Also we gotta talk about how Chairman Matsumoto (not related to Rangiku Matsumoto) is trying to leverage this to get rid of the Korean S-ranks and boost Japan’s popularity, rather than prioritizing the lives of the civilians. Truly scummy, and it seems that Ryuji is going along with it. But in his fight with the king he remarks that the King’s power is similar to Jinwoo. Does that mean the ant can get stronger as he takes down more foes? Does he level up like Jinwoo or does he simply have some similar abilities?

What’s Jinwoo about to do here? I’m assuming the ant will sense that Jinwoo is the strongest and ask him if he’s the King of Humans since the title of these episodes have often been said by a character within said episode (Episode 6 of this season is an example). I’m excited!

The ant king really hates the Japanese much more than the Koreans, except for the healer. Pretty sure Goto just died at the end. RIP

Jinwoo takes his time, just like most arcs. I know the broadcast was 10 minutes late, but there is no reason why the shadow soldiers didn't make any moves earlier.

At least Jinwoo's exchange at the end was hype.

Those S Ranked Hunters had some awesome moves! Extra style points to Jong-Ins fire dragon and Cha's angelic cuts on the queen.

This Ant King is quite the quick study with how he picked up language so fast. the track DARK ARIA coming back when he was getting revenge on the S Ranks totally locks in his similarities with Jinwoo!

@G_Spark233 The Japanese got it easy, they all had a quick death, the Ant King, on the other hand, was going to slowly torture the Koreans for killing their mommy which was worse, of course the healer was going to mess up with his fun so he needed to kill him first, as for the rest it was a slow, painful death that awaits.

They are just lucky that the MC said the magic word: "Exchange".

@xZabuzax Let's be honest here. You are just coping. The Korean S Ranks were spared because of the plot.

@G_Spark233 You call it coping, I call it using suspension of disbelief here, nothing wrong with using suspension of disbelief, characters not suddenly dying happens in almost every anime, it happened in this one and it won't be the last.
